Starting at only about $35 000 US, the Tesla Model 3 is definitely intended to be the cheaper and a whole lot more affordable counterpart to the Tesla Model S. It is however, a bit smaller.
As with any Tesla vehicle, it features their iconic door handles as well as its unmistakable headlights. To add on, it also includes Tesla’s simplistic look: Extremely simple, yet highly effective.
Inside the Car
You think the exterior looks cool? Well, think again. There is just so much more to cover in terms of the interior of the car.

Will you look at that! As far as anyone can tell, there are only buttons on the steering wheel. These buttons can be used to control many functions such as the mirrors and steering wheel.
The left control stock, on the other hand, control the blinkers, headlights, wipers, and if equipped, the autopilot functions. On the other side of the steering wheel, is the right control stock. It is able to control the driving mode, including the parking break and cruise control. Finally, a double pull will enable auto-steering, if available on your car.
When it comes to the material, there is a certain squishy and comfortable material on the dash, on top of the windows, below the windows, surrounding the cupholders, and even for the door bins.
Plus, for the seats, leatherette is used all around the car.
The… Infotainment Screen!

Getting a bit too hot or too cold? Well, of course, the dual zone climate control system can be accessed by the infotainment screen. Using your finger, you are able to control the airflow out of the central vents. Plus, you can also control the heated seats function of the front seats… And even the back seats! This, of course, included the middle back seats.
When it comes to navigation, the infotainment screen certainly highly effective. Equipped with Google Maps, with typing and navigating done by your fingers, it truly works just like an iPad. When a destination is chosen, a route will be planned, including the locations and usage times of Tesla Superchargers.
Other functions of the infotainment screen include security, seating position, remaining charge, and even a voice function that utilizes a variety of controls. Music applications, such as Spotify and TuneIn Radio are built into the screen. Internet access is also granted, including the Google browser.
If you want to alter the position of your steering wheel or mirrors, you can simply activate its proper mode on the infotainment screen, and then use the scroll buttons on the steering wheel.
The most important feature, however, is the cleaning mode. When activated, the screen goes dark, and you are able to clean any dust or fingerprints.
Feeling a Bit Lazy?

Using the Tesla app, you can use your phone as a key, access the climate control of your vehicle, verify the range left in your batteries, but also use your headlights, horn, front truck, and back trunk. Wow! That’s definitely a lot… All without entering the vehicle!
But, just to what extent is this mobile app useful? For me, the most interesting feature about it, is the ability to unlock the doors and start itself, when it senses your phone coming close.
Having a Hard Time Backing Up?
Well, Elon must’ve thought this issue through very well. The reversing camera on the Tesla Model 3 is of extremely high quality, even allowing you to see all the tiny cracks on the asphalt! Certainly some high-tech driving we have here.

The Verdict…
With many awesome and unique features, the Tesla Model 3 is definitely a dream vehicle… Especially for me. It revolutionizes the auto industry, not only running on electricity, but also due to the infotainment, and more.
